Entering a Korean delivery address on an overseas store
International checkout problems often come from a wrong country selection, recipient details or a missing unit—not the translation alone. Compare every field with the source address before payment.
Checks before entering the address
Choose South Korea or Korea, Republic of from the shipping-country list. Also check product restrictions, customs rules and any ban on forwarding addresses.
Use the romanized recipient name that matches identification and customs information. When a country-code field is present, choose +82 and follow the merchant’s phone-number example.
Fill the address fields
Put the romanized street and building number in Address Line 1 and the building, floor or unit in Line 2. Use City for the relevant city/county/district, State/Province for the province or metropolitan city, and enter the five-digit postcode.
For a single address field, separate components with commas. If space is limited, preserve the building number, street, unit and postcode before optional descriptive text.
Final review before payment
Check whether the form asks if shipping and billing addresses are the same. A billing address that differs from the card issuer’s record may be rejected, so follow the merchant’s instructions.
